The Graduate Route is available for all persons who have successfully completed their current course on their Student visa / Tier 4 (General) student visa. The Graduate Route allows the successful applicant to stay in the UK for at least 2 years (or 3 years, depending on your course), in the event that the applicant meets the criteria as stated by the Home Office.
According to the Home Office, the criteria set out are as follows:
- The application was made in the UK
- The applicant current leave / visa in the UK is either a Student Visa or a Tier 4 (General) Student Visa
- The applicant has studied a UK bachelor’s degree, postgraduate degree or other eligible course for a minimum period of time with their current Student Visa or Tier 4 (General) Student Visa
- Your education provider (such as your university or college) has told the Home Office you’ve successfully completed your course
